1.
Tell everyone about spay and neuter
Pet
overpopulation is a serious problem.
It results in the euthanasia of 3-6
million companion animals each year.
In addition to those who are
euthanized, many homeless animals are left
to live and fend for themselves outdoors.
The
overpopulation problem will not be solved
until cats and dogs are no longer
overbreeding.
This will not happen until there is
complete public awareness of the problem and
a willingness on the part of all citizens to
promote the spay and neuter of all companion
animals.
You
can help by:
1.
Being sure that your pet is spayed
and neutered.
2.
Talking to friends, relatives,
co-workers and neighbors about the
importance of spay and neuter.
3.
Supporting organizations that promote
the spay and neuter of animals.
For
more information please see the Spay and
Neuter section of this web site.
